This new production of Peter Rabbit is adapted from the well-known picture book The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter. First published in 1902, Peter Rabbit is one of the most famous British picture books in the world, which has been a bestseller for a century. It has been selected as one of the “100 Best Children’s Books” by the American National Education Association, the “Best-selling Children's Books of All Times” by Publishers Weekly of the United States, the “Most Influential ‘Book of the Century’ of the 20th Century” by the New York Public Library and the “100 Selections of World Picture Books” by the Japanese children's Literature Association. The play was authorized by Frederick Warne & Co and developed by Rockefeller Productions and produced by Harmonia Theatrical. The puppets were made by the creative team of beloved Disney Theatrical shows. The play leads children into a classic world full of fantasy, innocence and adventure.
