It is such great fun to play Erhu! As one of the most classical Chinese traditional instruments, Erhu is perfectly capable of imitating the sounds of different kinds of animals with just two strings. The musicians of the Xinyi Chinese Chamber Orchestra will bring you to a world of sounds with their Erhu, recreating the songs of birds in the mountains, the buzzing of bees, the galloping of horses...And that's not all! Xinyi Chinese Chamber Orchestra was established in 2005 and is the first professional and traditional chamber orchestra in Shanghai. All of the members graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music. The orchestra was awarded the gold medal in the Ⅷ International Music Festival Sharq Taronalari (Melodies of the Orient) in Uzbekistan. The orchestra’s footprints are all over the world, conveying the beauty and displaying the new spirit of traditional Chinese music.
