In 2023, the hit Chinese animation Yao-Chinese Folktales took the world by storm. Its opening episode, Nobody, introduced the brave and kind-hearted“Little Pig Demon”and the mysterious, challenging“Langlang Mountain”—characters that quietly found their way into the hearts of audiences young and old. Now this acclaimed story has been adapted into a puppet show, co-produced by Damai’s Theatre Rocks！& Touch Laboratory, with Liu Xiaoyi, director of the National Theatre of China, serving as artistic director and puppet designer. Featuring tens of thousands of hand-carved wooden puppets, clever multi-scene interactions, and up-close sound and lighting effects, plus a moving theme song Where to Go, it takes viewers on a magical journey—showing how Little Pig Demon chases his dreams and embarks on an adventure of love and courage at Langlang Mountain.
