The Piccolo Coro "MarieleVentre" Dell'Antoniano was established in October 1963, and has become one of the most famous children’s choirs in the world. In addition to its fame in Italy, the choir is the Good Will Ambassador for UNICEF and participates in the international children’s song festival Zecchinod’Oro every year. The choir also makes records, recording more than 1,000 songs over the last 50 years, is seen on television and heard on the radio. Throughout its long history, the Piccolo Coro has brought its great show to concerts and festivals around the world, through tours in its native Italy and the rest of the world. Shanghai Children’s Art Theatre was honored to have the Piccolo Coro sing to celebrate the 2016,2017and2018 New Year for Shanghai audiences. Italy’s Little Choir of Antoniano is returning to Shanghai for the fourth time to ring in the 2019 New Year with the choir’s heavenly voice.
